Tempe Volleyball USyd Junior Rep Team Program

We have a well-established Junior Program for young athletes with qualified coaches, structured training & club uniforms for rep players. All coaches have current Working With Children Checks (WWCC) and we are part of the Active Kids Voucher (AKV) program.

The Tempe Volleyball Junior Program is selecting teams to play in the Sydney Volleyball League (SVL) against other clubs from May to Sept in Under 16s

All SVL players are required to be registered as FULL members of Volleyball NSW via our USYD club.

Junior Sydney Volleyball League (JSVL) Matches & Training

We will be holding selection trials over the next few weeks for Under 16s (turning 16 in Dec 2023) USYD rep Team to participate in the JSVL.

Selected players will require to commit to the following:

  • 15x weeks Junior Sydney Volleyball League competition (JSVL) (May to Spet)
    JSVL games throughout the season will take place at Sydney Olympic Park
  • 15x Weekly training sessions (May to Sept)
    Training will be held weekly on Monday nights 6-8pm at Five Dock however, night and time may change when Tempe courts are back online.
    Training is an essential part of the program and your commitment to being there each week is expected.

 2023 SVL Season information

U16s will play on Sunday mornings (from 8am) at Sydney Olympic Park (SOP)

2023 JUNIOR expected competition dates: Under 16s Sunday – May to Sept


The SVL season & weekly training cost in 2023 is:
$550 per player (based on 12 players selected in the squad)
$650 per player (based on 10 players selected in the squad).

These fees will include:

-15 weekly SVL playing competition (with a coach present at weekend matches)
-15 Weekly coached training sessions
-The Annual Rego fee (Register until 31 Mar 2024)
-Our USYD gear which includes, playing top & shorts & a training top.

This year’s Active Kids Vouchers can be used if haven’t used prior.
